Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is composed of a cross-section of community members who advise the Board of Selectmen and the School Board about the appropriateness of budget proposals and the needs of the community. Although the recommendations of the committee are not binding, the Finance Committee Report appears in the Town Report each year and, traditionally, has been given great weight by the community as budget decisions are made. Finance Committee members are appointed by the Town Moderator for one-year terms.
